Best friends CAN be forever

5th grade divas(Ashley on the left, me in the middle, then Gabby)
I know I've written about my best friend Gabby like a gazillion times, but I'm going to talk about both my bestest friends, Gabby and Ashley.  I'll start with how Gabby and I became friends.
It was the first day of kindergarten, and I was really nervous.  The bus came to my house, and when I got on there was a girl who was going into the same class as me .  We talked, and of course she kept talking and talking.  Soon after that we were best friends.  We did everything during recess we would go on little detective missions, and play on the playground.  We played all the same sports too.  We would have rec basketball on Saturdays, and it would go by age groups.  Also our sisters were the same age, and they played basketball too.  So, during our sister's games we would play our detective game, where we would search for a "bad guy" and we would also play with Gabby's dinosaurs, which also came with dinosaur eggs.  Well, we thought it was necessary to have allll of them, and we played with them right in the lobby of school.  As the years went on we stayed bffs. Even now Gabby and I are still best friends, we just aren't as weird, and of course she has her beautiful son Isaiah.  We see each other as much as possible, but we talk on the phone at least once a day.  In gym class we would always make fun of ourselves because we sucked at like everything.  We had to run a mile and Gabby and I weren't about that, so we would cheat when the gym teacher wasn't looking and cut corners, and pretty much walk the thing.  That was in 8th grade.  But, I'm going to go back to 2nd grade.
Second grade is when Ashley came to our school, we didn't really become friends until like 3rd grade.  At first Gabby actually hated Ashley(as much as a first grader can hate)  But, they became friends shortly after that.  The three of us became best friends soon after.  We thought we were so cool to, it's actually embarrassing thinking back about how we thought we were hot shit at the friggin Orland school.
In like 7th grade Gabby and Ashley had a falling out, I have no idea why, because it was years ago, but I stayed friends with them both.  Ashley and I would hangout a lot after school, so I was kind of closer with her.  We went through this phase where we thought we were badasses and listened to music like 3oh!3 and a lot of other weird shit.  But our favorite was Miley Cyrus as I mentioned earlier in my last blog.  We would do everything together. We'd go to my brother's basketball and football games together, and it was like every single one.  Ashley moved the summer of 7th grade.  We didn't her to move so we wrote each other really long notes hoping her mom would find them and feel bad and decide not to move.  That didn't work out too well.  But, that same summer we got the chicken pox at the same time.  It was awful, but it made it better knowing that she had them too.  We also would drink sparkling cider all the time because we felt like we were classy and pretend it was wine, or champagne.  We thought it would be cool if we wrote notes to each other and then put them in the bottles, and then in a few years open them to see what's changed and all that.  Sophomore year we broke the bottles open and laughed so hard at how embarrassing it was. When Ashley got her license she would come down here and we would just drive around and go to the beach.  Whenever we're together we still do embarrassing things, like not having enough money to tip at a restaurant so we hurry up and leave, and once we get in the car realizing we forgot all our food in the restaurant. Or go to mcdonalds and drive all the way back and sit in the Orland school parking lot reminiscing. Oh, another time we got in trouble because we were with a bunch of people on the playground during a play.  Badasses, I know.
I'm still super close with both of them, and there have been a few ups and downs, but they will always be my bestest friends, no matter what.
After the Ke$sha concert!
mean muggin
